This is 50 Fundraiser

That means every calendar purchased does more than mark the days of the year.

It helps support real causes.
It helps real people.
It becomes part of a larger mission.

This calendar is for anyone who has ever felt overlooked, underestimated, counted out, or told they were too late to become something more. It is for the person rebuilding their life. It is for the person fighting to get healthy. It is for the person chasing a degree, a dream, a second chance, or a new beginning. It is for anyone who knows that becoming better is not about perfection.

It is about progress.

“This is 50” is not about looking back with regret. It is about stepping forward with purpose.

It is about honoring the road that brought me here while using the next chapter to lift others up. It is about showing that age is not a finish line. It is a launch point. It is about proving that reinvention does not belong only to the young. It belongs to anyone brave enough to begin again.

When you order this calendar, you are not just buying a product.

You are supporting a journey.
You are standing behind twelve charities.
You are helping turn one milestone birthday into a year of giving.
You are becoming part of a story that says we can still grow, still change, still serve, and still become more than anyone ever expected.

This is not just my 50.

This is every person who kept going.
Every person who refused to quit.
Every person who turned pain into purpose.
Every person who decided their next chapter would be their strongest one yet.

Order the “This is 50” calendar today.

Buy one for yourself. Buy one as a gift. Share the story. Support the charities. Help prove that one person’s transformation can create a ripple effect far beyond themselves.

Because this calendar is not just about counting days.

It is about making them count.

This is 50. This is purpose. This is impact. This is the next chapter.

A journey of transformation. A celebration of resilience. A calendar created to give back.

My name is Jim West, and this calendar is more than a photoshoot. It is more than a milestone birthday. It is more than turning 50.

“This is 50” is a statement.

It is proof that your past does not get the final word. It is proof that the life you were born into does not have to define the life you build. It is proof that discipline, education, faith, grit, self-learning, and relentless forward motion can turn survival into purpose.

I grew up in central Louisiana in foster care. I did not start life with privilege, connections, or a clear path already laid out in front of me. I started with obstacles. I started with uncertainty. I started with the kind of beginning that could have easily become an excuse.

But somewhere along the way, I made a decision.

I decided I would not be limited by where I came from. I decided I would learn. I decided I would grow. I decided I would become the best version of myself one step, one book, one certification, one challenge, and one hard-earned lesson at a time.

Through education, self-learning, and decades of relentless work, I went from a kid in foster care to one of the top multi-domain subject-matter experts in cybersecurity. I became an award-winning and bestselling author with more than 150 fiction and nonfiction publications. I built platforms to teach, inspire, entertain, and challenge others, including FormerlyME, a YouTube channel created to document my personal journey of becoming better physically, mentally, professionally, and purposefully.

That is why I created the “This is 50” charity calendar.

This project is about transformation, but it is also about impact. Each month of the calendar will support one of twelve charities, with one charity represented for every month of the year. My goal is to sell a minimum of 100 calendars, and every profit made from calendar sales will be matched by me personally as a donation to the twelve charities featured.

I also write travel articles under FormerlyME and movie reviews under MovieWrongs.com, published monthly in two magazines. But this next chapter is different.

On February 17, 2027, I turn 50.

And instead of simply celebrating that milestone, I wanted to turn it into something bigger than me.
